The curriculum encompasses fundamental aspects of Italian grammar. Students will focus on four key elements of communication: spoken expression, written communication, oral comprehension, and basic-level reading. Additionally, they will gain foundational insights into Italian culture. Special attention will be devoted to mastering accurate Italian pronunciation, with a particular emphasis on addressing challenges that may arise for native English speakers.
The primary aim of this course is to initiate students into the world of the Italian language and culture. Participants will learn to engage in Italian conversations centered around everyday life scenarios, such as family, friends, and dining experiences. They will acquire the ability to express themselves using both present and past tense verbs and enhance their comprehension of written and spoken Italian through active participation in class discussions. Moreover, students will refine their Italian writing skills during class sessions, ultimately improving their conversational abilities and the quality of their vocabulary.
